Students at Pine Forest had a great time celebrating Read Across America last week. Classes participated in a March Madness book bracket by voting on their favorite each day. The winner was The Legend of Rock, Paper, Scissors by Drew Daywalt! In the library, students had fun at "Camp Read-A-Lot" and on Friday Kona Ice came by to help celebrate reading by serving up shaved ice and even donated books to our school library! Students also played Book Bingo and won prizes throughout the week. A good time was had by all while celebrating our love for reading!
