The students made real-world connections to their Arkansas History curriculum by exploring the historical significance of the Plum Bayou culture and the early agricultural practices of Arkansas. This hands-on experience allowed them to deepen their understanding of the historical people who shaped the state and its development, enriching their learning outside the classroom.
