Pine Forest and CALS recently partnered to bring Fancy Nancy illustrator Robin Preiss Glasser to visit with Mrs. Chumley’s second grade class. During her visit, Mrs. Glasser talked about how she creates illustrations for children’s books and read aloud her newest book The Verts, written by author Ann Patchett. Each student also received a copy of the book to take home!

🤩 WOW 🤩 Yesterday was a day to remember as we celebrated the news of being named a National Blue Ribbon School! We want to thank our students and staff who showed up and shared their school spirit all day. Our pep rally was a huge success - from start to finish!

We have some exciting news!! Pine Forest Elementary is one of only three schools in the state of Arkansas to be named a 2024 National Blue Ribbon School! Pine Forest received recognition in the Exemplary Achievement Gap Closing Schools category for the Blue Ribbon Award. They are among 356 schools nationwide to be included in the 2024 cohort of Blue Ribbon Schools. Way to go, PFE!

Pine Forest Elementary was without power for approximately 90 minutes today due to a power outage in the community. Our staff adjusted accordingly, continued to provide instruction and all students were fed without any issues. Power was restored shortly before noon. We appreciate your support of our school!
